April 22: WORT’s Record Store Day party at Boneset Records

DJ Shotski holds a flyer for Record Store Day

Join local DJs from 10AM-6PM on Saturday, April 22 as we celebrate the close connection between community radio and independent record stores.

Local record shops inspire us all to explore and enjoy music. Volunteer-powered community radio stations do too! That’s why WORT-FM is teaming up with Madison’s newest independent record store, Boneset Records, to celebrate Record Store Day with all-vinyl DJs spinning tunes in the shop.

The event is free. Boneset Records is a local source for vintage music and films, from vinyl to VHS, CDs to DVDs, clothes, gifts and goodies.

I’ll be playing an all-45 set. Selections will include vintage soul, 80s jams, and a little polka of course.
