Verona: Toot and Kate’s

I was so pleased to get an invitation from the owner of Toot and Kate’s wine bar in Verona, Wisconsin to play polka. Toot and Kate’s is an adorable downtown gathering place with a pour-your-own wine system and a full bar. It’s a great date night spot and a classy addition to the Verona community.

This was my very first, paid gig, so I was especially thankful to them for hosting me and taking a chance on featuring a polka vinyl DJ during a Packer pre-season game day. I had the same experience at Toot and Kate’s as I did at the Malt House. People naturally smile when they walk into a place that’s playing polka music. Polka music is happy music.
